Same administration, same 1.50 euro ticket, same six annual closures. The Museo de Artes y Costumbres Populares shuts at 3pm for 92 days a year and the Museo de Bellas Artes for 31, and the gap lands in high season. Accredited EU citizens get in free, everyone else pays, and both museums close on Mondays.

Six public museums for 10.11 euros in total, or 7.11 with an EU passport. The CAAC is free all day on Saturday and from 7pm to 9pm Tuesday to Friday for every nationality, and keeping a Real Alcázar general ticket makes the Antiquarium and Centro Cerámica Triana free as well. All six close on Mondays.

Seville's Cartuja monastery and the CAAC contemporary art shows inside it share one site, and on Saturday nobody pays. Ten free hours on Saturday against five and a half paid ones on Sunday. Almost a third of this museum's opening week costs nothing, and none of it turns on a passport. Weekday evenings are free from 7pm, and Mondays are closed.
ArtSeville's Fine Arts Museum Shuts Its Rooms at 8.30pm
It advertises 9pm, sells its last 25 tickets at 8.15pm and closes the galleries at 8.30pm. For €1.50 it keeps Murillo open through the Seville afternoon, the slot after the Alcázar and the Cathedral have shut. Sundays end at 3pm, Mondays are closed unless a holiday follows, and EU citizens get in free with ID.
ArtFree Museums in Seville, Who Qualifies and When
Seville runs four separate routes to a free museum and only one depends on the date. EU citizens get into Bellas Artes and Artes y Costumbres Populares free by showing proof of citizenship at the desk. Everyone else pays €1.50 there, but can still see the Archivo de Indias at no cost and visit Bellas Artes free on 18 May, International Museum Day.
