Most flamenco shows in Seville start at 7pm, an hour before most restaurant kitchens open, and that timing decides which ticket fits your evening. Book a one-hour room and you walk out at 8pm ready for dinner; book a tablao with a table and dinner comes first. A flamenco show in Seville costs between 25 and 45 euros for an hour of dance, song and guitar in the old town. At 25 euros, La Casa del Flamenco is the cheapest, with five shows a day in October from 4pm. Tablao Las Setas holds its last one at 10.30pm, for anyone who eats late.
What is the best flamenco show in Seville? For a first visit, La Casa del Flamenco in Santa Cruz: 25 euros, 60 minutes, five shows a day. Los Gallos gives the longest show, 75 minutes with eight performers for 38 euros. For dinner and a show under one roof, Tablao El Arenal, from 71 euros plus VAT. Families do best at the Museo del Baile Flamenco.
Which flamenco show to book, by budget and by evening
The cheapest adult ticket is 25 euros at La Casa del Flamenco and the dearest show-only ticket is 45 euros plus VAT at El Arenal, which includes a drink. Seven of the eight venues below run 60-minute shows; only Los Gallos runs 75 minutes, and it adds a drink to every ticket until 31 October.
| Venue | Show length | Shows start | Adult ticket | What else is included |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| La Casa del Flamenco | 60 minutes | 4pm, 5.30pm, 7pm, 8.30pm and 10pm in October | 25 euros | Nothing else; unnumbered seats |

| CasaLa Teatro | 60 minutes | 6pm | 35 euros | Nothing else |
| Tablao Los Gallos | 75 minutes | 7pm and 8.45pm | 38 euros | A drink, until 31 October |
| Tablao El Arenal | 60 minutes | 7pm and 9.30pm | 45 euros plus VAT | One drink; dinner menus from 71 euros plus VAT |
Our pick for a first night is La Casa del Flamenco, because five daily starts leave room for a late Alcázar visit or a delayed train. Pick Los Gallos if you want the longest show for the money, the Museo del Baile Flamenco, founded by the dancer Cristina Hoyos, if you have children or a rainy afternoon, and El Arenal only if you want dinner at the show.
A 7pm show and Seville’s 8pm dinner
Seville eats late, and the evening works best when the show is built around dinner. Across the ten restaurants mapped in our Seville food guide, dinner rarely starts before 8pm, and between 5.30pm and 7pm only three of them are serving. A show starting at 7pm ends at 8pm, or at 8.15pm at Los Gallos.
Two evenings that work without a reservation clash. The early one: the 5pm show at the Museo del Baile Flamenco or Teatro Flamenco Sevilla, a drink, then dinner from 8pm. The late one: dinner first, then the 9pm or 10.30pm show at Tablao Las Setas, which sits below the Metropol Parasol and pairs with a Las Setas rooftop ticket from 48 euros including the show. Opening hours of the restaurants, area by area, are in where to eat in Seville by hour and by seat.
What a flamenco ticket really costs, VAT and children included
A flamenco ticket in Seville usually includes VAT, but not everywhere. The fare the Museo del Baile Flamenco publishes includes 21 percent VAT on shows, while the Arenal lists all its prices before VAT, so the 45 euros on its show-and-drink ticket and the 86 euros on its dinner menu rise at checkout.
Children pay less almost everywhere. The Museo del Baile Flamenco charges 15 euros for ages 6 to 12 and Teatro Flamenco Sevilla 19 euros for the same ages; La Casa del Flamenco charges 15 euros up to age 12 but does not recommend the show for under-6s; Tablao Las Setas charges 20 euros from age 3 to 16, and under-3s go free. El Arenal has a children’s dinner menu at 55 euros plus VAT.
Buy from the venue’s own website or box office. The flamenco results on Google are crowded with resellers and tour platforms whose listings carry their own mark-up, and the fares in this table are the ones each house publishes itself. Tickets at La Casa del Flamenco are non-refundable, so pick the date before you pay.
How to get to Seville’s flamenco venues
Seven of the nine venues on this map sit within the old town, walkable from the Cathedral; CasaLa Teatro is across the river in the Mercado de Triana and the Peña Torres Macarena is in La Macarena, a bus ride north. A single bus fare costs 1.40 euros according to TUSSAM, paid on board.

- Tablao Las Setas, Teatro Flamenco Sevilla and Casa de la Memoria. TUSSAM’s TB1 stops at Imagen, 88 metres from Las Setas and 215 from Calle Cuna 15, and at Plaza del Duque, 187 metres from Calle Cuna 6.

From the airport, the bus to the centre and its fare are set out in Seville airport to the city centre; the other ticket types are in Seville’s transport fares.
Free flamenco in Seville and the Bienal de Flamenco
Free flamenco in Seville happens at the peñas, members clubs that host the city council series EmPEÑAdos por Sevilla, run with the Unión de Peñas Flamencas: recitals are free until the room is full. Hosts include the Peña Cultural Flamenca Torres Macarena, founded in 1974 at Calle Torrijano 29, where Don Fadrique bus stop is 148 metres away.
A peña has no daily show and no box office, so turn up for an announced recital and arrive early. In summer, the Noches en los Jardines garden concerts at the Real Alcázar de Sevilla cost 7 euros, according to the Patronato that runs the palace, with entry from 9pm to 10.25pm Tuesday to Saturday, and flamenco is one of the genres on the bill; the full calendar is in what opens after dark in Seville.
The Bienal de Flamenco de Sevilla is the city council’s festival, held every two years in even years. Its 24th edition ran from 9 September to 3 October across theatres such as the Teatro de la Maestranza and the Teatro Lope de Vega, closing with Carmen Linares. Dates are set fresh each time, so check the Bienal’s own programme before planning a September trip around it. For the rest of a Seville stay, see what to see in one, two or three days, and for the Alcázar visit that often precedes an evening show, what to see inside the Real Alcázar.
